Mobility March Commuter Series

2023 | MOBILITY MARCH

Mobility March was an initiative organized by the Ateneo Assembly and the Development Society of the Ateneo that pushed for discussions and activities related to sustainable and inclusive mobility. To promote the project, we developed a series of videos featuring commuters from the student body who shared their experiences and recommendations on the issue of mobility. The videos were filmed and edited vertically to adapt to the trend of reels in marketing. Other elements such as subtitles, sound effects, memes, and the like were used to sustain engagement with viewers.


Rediscovering Career Promotional Video

2022 | ELEVATE MAIN

Rediscovering Career is an event held by Elevate Main to help young adults in deciding their career paths. The aim of this video is to give a look into the topics that will be tackled during the event. The branding of the event was based on the navigation app Waze.

Since this was a text-heavy video, moving elements were added to make it
more dynamic. The organizers also requested for an animated version of
the event’s main poster to be added. I also wanted to showcase a fun,
upbeat mood to the audience who are mainly the youth.


MOVE 2021 Day 3 Intro

MOVE 2021 is a discipleship conference organized by Elevate Main. For this event, I was tasked to create an inspirational video to be shown before the beginning of the third day of the event. The organizers wanted to make the video as relatable to the youth as possible.

We decided to go for a moody VCR look in line with the event’s branding, and to make the audio seem like the speaker is a friend talking to the audience on the phone. Since it was a spoken word piece, I also made sure the sequences were in line with the artist’s thoughts.


MOVE 2021 Highlights

This video is a recap of the plenary sessions and activities during the MOVE 2021 discipleship conference. The creation of the video involved being well-informed about the content of each speaker’s talk and understanding how they could be sequenced in the most impactful way. Aside from aiming to help participants reminisce about the event, the video also serves as a call to action. Visually, the VCR look aligns with the event’s branding and the incorporation of footage and photos taken online and onsite aided in sustaining the audience’s attention.


M.45 “Pakbet” Promotional Video

2021 | TANGHALANG ATENEO

M.45 (dir. Khavn) is an online production by Tanghalang Ateneo in
partnership with Kamias Overground. The script is mainly rapped by the cast members. Because of this, we decided to create a Genius-inspired “parody” video to promote the production.

For the editing, I tried to copy as close as I could the Genius videos we were drawing inspiration from while at the same time adding in our own flavor to the promo with snippets/teasers from the production itself.
